On February 1st 2022 we were welcomed by project partner CIFP Usurbil LHII for our first Learning, Teaching & Training Activity. The most important part of this meeting was to design a Teacher Training, to be used in all colleges to train our staff in working with the models and learning materials of EduTrans.
It was very interesting to visit the Usurbil campus, as they are dedicated to the Energy Transition, with a variety of examples. For example a ‘Neutral House’ that is netto not consuming energy, but producing it. We presented each other the state of work on the physical models and learning materials, brainstormed about solutions for challenges which we are facing and made preparations for the meeting in Dordrecht. This event will take place at the end of March 2022, when students and teachers will test the models made during the EduTrans project. We also visited innovation centre Tknika. This centre is of huge importance for the development and innovation of the education in the Basque Country. It which was very inspiring and created the blueprint for the train the trainer sessions.
